The Black Panel was very interesting this year. Normally, the opening of the panel is a fun, hip hop party scene but this year became somber as Michael Davis explained the very stressful year he had. It was the most eye opening and honest thing I have witnessed, as Davis talked about the many issues that contributed to his depression and shocking admission of a suicide attempt.

On the other side of the emotional spectrum, Don McGregor, prolific writer on such books as Sabre and Black Panther gives an interesting story about the early days of the Black Panther character and some confusion at Marvel as to how to present the Wakandan.
