I’m sure there are a few people wondering what happened with Chaotic Fringe not getting published for a bit. There were a number of things that happened personally than made me have to slow down a bit on things I was doing, plus I needed to reflect on what direction Chaotic Fringe was going.

Since the relaunch, CF has been more political than I imagined it to be, but remember we were in the middle of what turned out to be an historic election. Part of the reason for bring CF back was to show some people that an idea I had was viable. While I wasn’t able to have the scope I wanted, CF still was able to get political and still stay true to its motto of reflecting my views.

Thankfully I was able rebuilt my production equipment and now I have the means to not only use words but video to get some points across. This has given me some time to try and figure out where to go from here.

CF isn’t going though a radical change, but I’m realizing I need to fully get the site to the potential it has, especially with the skills I have.

Now that the election is over, the site is going to return to the main monthly update status it started off with. That’s going to give me the time I need to work on articles without feeling like I need to crank out stuff just to have stuff.

The real change to CF will be in a few months. At that time, if all goes well, there’s going to be an exciting edition to the magazine. I’m hoping to add video content to CF, with small documentaries shot. It’s a direction I’ve wanted to do for years and now that I have the equipment to do it, that’s where I’m going. It’s another step in CF, an exciting and challenging one but with the medium I have available it’s a direction I need to take for CF to reach the level I want it to be.

So, there will be a lot of behind the scenes drama going on for the next few months while the expansion gets brought together.
