You have to love ignorant celebrities. Yes, I said ignorant as opposed to ill informed, misguided, or new to the dog eat dog world of celebrity. Giving excuses to celebrities is something so 2002. There was a time when you could forgive a celebrity, and honestly that word celebrity is being used loosely, because the new crop of celebrities that got their fame by notoriety and not talent (Paris Hilton, the Kardashian clan) supposedly got their fame by accident, then had the savvy intuition to parlay that into payment.

Today, when you have no-named housewives, teenage baby mamas and neck rolling embarrassments becoming 'stars' and those folks knowing the landscape in the media world, it is hard to hear their claims of mistrust and being misunderstood as nothing more than attention getting publicity stunts. They know if a camera follows you every day they're going to show the two minutes you fought with your husband, not the 20 hours you watched TV because you were bored. Because of the public appetite for any amount of manufactured fame, you are going to have photographers following you around. If you give an interview, reporters aren't going to care about your publicist prepared speech about loving the dog, family and country. They are going to cover the unguarded moments. And, this is the best one of the bunch, when you are caught with your pants down, please don't feign outrage and talk about embarrassment with an acid tongue lashing at the lame-stream media. You invited them into your world, don't be mad when they crap on your carpet.

I would guess Twitter and Facebook have become the bane of many a publicists, because these fake stars seldom have any self control or ability to word craftily formed releases. They have been plucked from obscurity, given a title not deserved and they are ill equipped, either by temperament or education, to handle the barbs thrown at them. They get on, lash out and click a button and seconds later their rant is delivered to millions of people. There is no way to back away from a statement made in anger, and when it is tried it is normally worse than the initial issue.

So, Amber Rose. Not a lot of people would know who she was if it wasn't for her dating Kanye West. For some reason, dating a celebrity now makes someone a celebrity. People try to get real issues covered in the news yet she is given free reign to spout off in magazines, have doors open to 'brand her name' even though she has no desirable talent other than to stand next to a rapper wearing right fitting clothes and posing for booty shots. Supposedly she gave an interview to Vibe Magazine, and she was so upset with the results of the interview she tweeted that the story was 'untrue and ridiculous.' If it was left at that, it would spark curiosity but would fit under the no harm no foul rule. She would have risen above the controversy. But, she isn't a 'star' because sh has no talent, other than the previously mentioned posing with rappers in tight clothes and giving booty shots. That doesn't prepare you for being classy. She then decided to continue, and I have to put this down as I read it in the article, because it is so rich -

"F##k that Cover F##K @VibeMagazine yall wrote a bunch of negative bulls--- that I never said or did. Yall don't give a f**k that I have a Mom & Family that's gonna read that fake a** s**t I gave yall a truthful interview & Yall f****d me. I'm so sick of keeping my mouth shut I didn't ask for this life it was handed to me I was nothing but nice to everyone I spoke to @ Vibe."

OK, so what stood out for me? She want to make sure she has a Mom and a family, presumably who would be upset with the 'untrue and ridiculous' statements she made in the article, yet not upset with the cursed rantings of a talentless poser. So her public, the few people who even give two cents about what she says or does, is supposed to believe the article is false but she is so upset and so unfocused she has to curse to get her point across? Either she is an idiot to think by cursing like a sailor it would convince someone the article wasn't true, or she is turning this into a non-controversy, like a celebrity claiming someone stole their sex tape, lawyers are called in, but instead of halting the sale a deal is made for the star to get a cut of the profit. Makes you wonder if the supposedly stolen tape was indeed stolen

Makes you wonder if the anger professed by Amer Rose is nothing more than to get her name out so she can sell some reality show, product, or otherwise shove herself out to the public.
