OK here’s something to show the quick power we have to confirm information. There has been this speculation about Sandra Bullock; what is going on with her? What’s the deal with her husband? Did she move out of her home?

All of this information swirling about and the press are being very cautious, which makes perfect sense since the usual gauntlet of agents and PR people have put a blockage around her and her husband.

So I went to a website today and there was a quick little blurb, when talking about another aspect of the issue, causally mentioned her Facebook page had a changed status from married to single. Well, I figured it was just some fan page or something and when I clicked on the link, the first thing I noticed was the site needed an invitation to access it fully, then I noticed one person I know was a friend of a site. Now, this guy is someone who knows folks in the industry so I got a little feeling it might have been her legitimate page. When I checked around I did see that Facebook had all sorts of confirmation that this was her Facebook page.

Sure enough, her status was Single.

I’m not 100% sure this is her REAL page, but it seems authentic on many parts. If it is this sure seems like an odd way to put your stuff out there, but in the new world of the social networking, it makes some sense.

I have to be honest and say I wasn’t on the bandwagon with Sandra Bullock. I understand the whole America’s Sweetheart thing, but when she got messed up in the custody stuff with her husband Jesse James and his ex-wife Janine I wasn’t down with that. It seemed like a lot of pile on the porn star and how in the world could Janine compete against America’s Sweetheart? When the bombshell (no pun intended) dropped, I got caught up in feeling sorry and embarrassed for Sandra Bullock. She was on all the award shows thanking him for his support, taking his daughters in and treating them like her own, and this guy is cheats on her while she’s filming her award winning performance. That has to be a painful thing to live with.
